Public Lecture on “Medical Anthropological Aspects of Public Health”

On 19th of May, the University of Georgia will host a public lecture on “Medical Anthropological Aspects of Public Health”.

Following issues will be discussed:
• What is health and what is diseases;
• Western biomedicine;
• Anthropological methods;
• History of humanitarian aid;
• Biological citizenship and ethics of research.

Guest speaker will be the Director of the SOCO Foundation, former first lady of Georgia – Mrs. Sandra Roelofs. Lecture will be conducted in English Language.
